Toy bird
Mechanical tinplate toy bird with embossed body painted red, gold and green with yellow feather wings. From a narrow base at the feet extends a long metal rod with a turned wooden handle. When the handle is turned the feathers move up and down. Purchased for one penny (1d) from a London street trader on 1st December 1894.
