Telescopic view or peepshow of the Thames Tunnel. With the title 'Thames Tunnel 1200 feet long, 76 feet below high water mark, was 8 years building & cost £446,000, opened the 25th day of March 1843'. The peepshow comprises four coloured prints, the front print which also acts as the cover has two circle holes for viewing. The images are held together with starched cotton, glazed and patterned one side on the outer side.
