Port & River — 1910-1920
Cart, first aid stretcher cart
This wooden high sided hand cart with a flat platform was designed to carry a stretcher. The cart has two wheels and four metal supports that fold out from the side and keep the stretcher steady when stationery. The cart was used in London's Royal docks to transport injured workers.
