Phial, test-tube unguentarium
Glass phial, natural green-blue. Poor quality glass with many impurities and large elongated bubbles; strain-cracking, especially in neck. Iridescence and weathering on most surfaces. Parts present: complete (rim, neck, body, base). Isings form 8. Rim very crudely made: fire-rounded but bent over double on one side. Wide, badly made constriction, which has caused irregularity and flattened the neck below it. Base slightly flattened. This is a very rough vessel, in terms of both glass and formation: a 'second'?
