Spearhead, pegged spearhead
Bronze socketed, leaf-shaped, pegged spearhead with two rivet holes and the remains of apple wood shaft preserved in the socket, stored separately. Wood radiocarbon dated to 1420-1100BC. Industrial phase: Penard. Found near shore, opposite Hammersmith Mall, beneath 9 ft of ballast, Sept 1862 (BIC)
