A silver victoriatus coin of the Roman Republic. The coin depicts Jupiter, king of the Roman gods and Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory. This coin was minted in South Italy, c. 205-195 BC.
Obv: Laureate head of Jupiter, facing right. Rev: Victory, standing right, crowning a trophy with a wreath. Rev inscription: ROMA in exergue.
