A copper alloy nummus of Theodora, the second wife of Emperor Constantius I, ruler of the Western Empire, AD 293-306. The back of the coin depicts the empress. This coin was minted in Treveri (modern day Trier, Germany), AD 337-340.
Obv: Draped and laureate bust of Theodora, facing right. Obv inscription: FL MAX THEODORAE AVG. Rev: Theodora, standing front, head right, holding an infant to her breast. Rev inscription: PIETAS ROMANA, .TRP. in exergue.
