A copper alloy nummus of Emperor Constantine I, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 306-337. The back of the coin depicts Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory. This coin was minted in Londinium (modern day London), AD 323-324.
Obv: Laureate head of Constantine I, facing right. Obv inscription: CONSTANTINVS AVG. Rev: Victory, advancing right, trampling a seated captive, and holding a trophy in her right hand and a branch in the left. Rev inscription: SARMATIA DEVICTA, PLONU in exergue.
