A copper alloy nummus of Emperor Constantine I, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 306-337. The back of the coin depicts a prince. This coin was minted in Londinium (modern day London), AD 310-312.
Obv: Cuirassed and laureate bust of Constantine I, facing right. Obv inscription: CONSTANTINVS P F AVG. Rev: A prince, standing left, holding a globe in his right hand and a vertical, reversed spear in the left. Rev inscription: PRINCIPI IVVENVTIS, * in field (right), PLN in exergue.
