Coin, nummus
A copper alloy nummus of Emperor Constantine I, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 306-337. The back of the coin depicts a military camp gate. This coin was minted in Cyzicus (in modern day Balıkesir Province, Turkey), AD 329-330.
Obv: Draped and diademed bust of Constantine I, facing right. Obv inscription: CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG. Rev: A military camp gate, with two turrets and a star above. Rev inscription: PROVIDENTIAE AVGG, SMKB in exergue.
