Coin, quinarius
A copper alloy quinarius coin of Emperor Allectus, ruler of the Romano-British Empire, AD 293-296. The back of the coin depicts a galley. This coin was minted in Londinium (modern day London), AD 293-296.
Obv: Radiate bust of Allectus, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP C ALLECTVS... AVG. Rev: A galley sailing right to left. Rev inscription: VIRTV[S AVG], QL in exergue.
