A copper alloy radiate coin of Emperor Carausius, ruler of the Romano-British Empire, AD 286-293. The back of the coin depicts Providentia, the female personification of foreseeing. This coin was minted in the Romano-British Empire, AD 286-293.
Obv: Radiate bust of Carausius, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG. Rev: Providentia, standing left, holding a baton in her right hand and a cornucopia in the left. Rev inscription: PR[OVID]EN AVG.
