Coin, radiate
A copper alloy radiate coin of Emperor Probus, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 276-282. The back of the coin depicts Abundantia, the female personification of abundance and prosperity. This coin was minted in Lugdunum (modern day Lyon, France), AD 276-282.
Obv: Cuirassed and radiate bust of Probus, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP C PROBVS P F AVG. Rev: Abundantia, standing right, emptying a cornucopia. Rev inscription: ABVNDANTIA AVG, IIII in exergue.
