A copper alloy radiate coin of Emperor Claudius II, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 268-270. The back of the coin depicts Pax, the Roman goddess of peace. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 268-270.
Obv: Cuirassed and radiate bust of Claudius II, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP CLAVDIVS AVG. Rev: Pax, standing left, holding a wreath in her raised right hand and a transverse sceptre in the left. Rev inscription: PAX AVG.
