A copper alloy radiate coin of Emperor Tetricus I, ruler of the Romano-Gallic Empire, AD 271-274. The back of the coin depicts Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory. This coin was minted in the Gallic Empire, unidentified mint I, AD 271-274.
Obv: Draped(?), cuirassed(?) and radiate bust of Tetricus I, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP C TETRICVS P F AVG. Rev: Victory, advancing left, holding a wreath in her right hand and a palm in the left. Rev inscription: VICTORIA AVG, (VIC is double struck).
