Coin, radiate
A copper alloy radiate coin of Emperor Victorinus, ruler of the Romano-Gallic Empire, AD 269-271. The back of the coin depicts Virtus, the personification of courage and bravery. This coin was minted in the Gallic Empire, unidentified mint I, AD 269-271.
Obv: Radiate bust of Victorinus, facing right. Obv inscription: [IM]P C VICTORINVS [P F AVG]. Rev: A soldier, standing right, holding a spear in his right hand and leaning on a shield with the left. Rev inscription: VIRT[VS AVG].
