Axehead, polished axehead
Ground and polished stone axehead. Source of stone: Creag na Caillich, near Killin, Perthshire. Type of stone: calc-silicate hornfels (sectioned: Group V (now XXIV)). This stone type was locally important in Scotland, but very rare elsewhere.
