Coin, as
A copper alloy as coin of Faustina the Younger, empress to Marcus Aurelius, AD 161-180. She was the daughter of Emperor Antoninus Pius, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 138-161. The back of the coin depicts Venus, the Roman goddess of love. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 152-153.
Obv: Draped and bare-headed bust of Faustina II, facing right. Obv inscription: FAVSTINA AVG PII AVG FIL. Rev: Venus, standing left, holding an apple in her right hand and a sceptre in the left. Rev inscription: VENVS, SC in field.
