Coin, as
A copper alloy as coin of Empress Vibia Sabina, wife of Emperor Hadrian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 117-138. The back of the coin depicts Concordia, the Roman goddess of understanding and marital harmony. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 128-137.
Obv: Draped bust of Sabina, facing right, her hair falls in a plait down her neck, waved at the back and rising on top in a crest over a stephane above a diadem. Obv inscription: [SABINA] AVGVSTA HADRIAN[I AVG PP]. Rev: Concordia, seated left, holding a patera (dish) in her extended right hand and resting her left elbow on a statuette of Spes, the female personfication of hope. Rev inscription: Illegible.
