Drinking vessel, tankard
Stoneware tankard, upper 1/3 covered with brown glaze, cylindrical body, flat circular base, chipped rim, strap handle and the inscription; 'Thomas Dugard 1727', and four attached medallions (i) Royal Arms; (ii) Shield with coat-of-arms of crossed axes, 3 hounds(?) heads, topped by a boars head flanked by wheat sheaves; (iii) hunting scene showing man shooting bird; (iv) hunting scene showing man and dogs chasing stag.
