Coin, sestertius
A copper alloy sestertius coin struck by the Emperor Nerva, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 96-98, to commemorate the divine Augustus, ruler of the Roman Empire, 31 BC-AD 14. This coin was minted in AD 98.
Obv: Laureate head of Augustus, facing right. Obv inscription: [DIVV]S AVGVSTVS. Rev inscription: IMP NERVA CAESAR AVGV[STVS] REST, SC in field.
