Medal, coronation medal
Bronze coronation medal of King George IV, 1821. Obverse depicts laureate head of George IV, right. Obverse inscription: 'Georgivs IV D.G. britan et hannov rex fid def'. Reverse depicts King George IV on horse back with Britannia walking in front holding staff and cornucopia. Reverse inscription: 'FELICEM AUGUSTI ADVENTUM / REGNUM HANNOVERAN / CELEBRAT / MDCCCXXI'. Maker's marks: 'G. Loos dir' and 'C. Voigt fec'.
