Coin, radiate
A copper alloy radiate coin of Emperor Victorinus, ruler of the Romano-Gallic Empire, AD 269-271. The back of the coin depicts Virtus, the personification of courage and bravery. This coin was minted in the Gallic Empire, unidentified mint II, AD 269-271.
Obv: Cuirassed and radiate bust of Victorinus, facing right. Obv inscription: [I]MP C VICTORINVS P F AVG. Rev: A soldier, standing right, holding a spear in his right hand and leaning on a shield with the left. Rev inscription: VIRTVS AVG.
