Ingot
A lead ingot with two stamps. One stamp is a Chi-Rho, an early symbol for Christ and Christianity, the other is the name 'SYAGRI', possibly for Syagrius. Syagrius may have been a predecessor to the last Roman official in North Gaul of the same name. Syagrius' overthrow by the Franks, under King Clovis I, AD 486, brought an end to Roman control in Gaul and Western Europe outside Italy.
