Coin, radiate
A copper alloy radiate coin of Emperor Victorinus, ruler of the Romano-Gallic Empire, AD 269-271. The back of the coin depicts Providentia, the female personification of foreseeing. This coin was minted in the Gallic Empire, unidentified mint II, AD 269-271.
Obv: Radiate bust of Victorinus, facing right. Obv inscription: [IMP] C VICTORINVS P F AVG. Rev: Providentia, standing left, holding a baton in her right hand and a cornucopia in the left, with a globe at her feet. Rev inscription: PROVIDENTIA [AVG].
