A copper alloy sestertius coin of Emperor Philip I, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 244-249. The back of the coin depicts a column. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 248.
Obv: Draped, cuirassed and laureate bust of Philip I, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP M IVL PHIL[IPPVS AVG]. Rev: A low column inscribed COS III. Rev inscription: MILIARIVM SAECVLVM, SC in field.
