Coin, as
A copper alloy as coin of Faustina the Younger, empress to Marcus Aurelius, AD 161-180. She was the daughter of Emperor Antoninus Pius, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 138-161. The back of the coin depicts Fecunditas, the Roman goddess of fertility. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 157-164.
Obv: Draped and bare-headed bust of Faustina II, facing right. Obv inscription: FAVSTINA AVGVSTA. Rev: Fecunditas, standing front, head left, holding a child in each arm, two more stand beside her. Rev inscription: [FEC]VND AVGVSTA[E], SC in field.
