Coin, denarius
A silver denarius coin of Emperor Hadrian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 117-138. The back of the coin depicts Felicitas, the female personification of prosperity. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 119-122.
Obv: Laureate head of Hadrian, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG. Rev: Felicitas, seated left, holding a caduceus (a winged staff held by messengers and heralds) in her right hand and a cornucopia in the left. Rev inscription: PM TR P COS III, FEL PR in exergue.
