A silver denarius coin of Emperor Hadrian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 117-138. The back of the coin depicts Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 119-122.
Obv: Draped and laureate bust of Hadrian, facing right. Obv inscription: [IMP] CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG. Rev: Victory, flying right, holding a transverse military trophy in both hands. Rev inscription: PM TR [P COS III].
