A silver denarius coin of Emperor Hadrian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 117-138. The back of the coin depicts Aeternitas, the female personification of eternity. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 119-122.
Obv: Laureate head of Hadrian, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG. Rev: Aeternitas, standing left, holding the head of Sol (the sun) in her right hand and the head of Luna (the moon) in the left. Rev inscription: PM TR P COS III.
