Coin, denarius
A silver denarius coin of Emperor Trajan, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 98-117. The back of the coin depicts Fortuna, the female personification of fortune. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 104-107.
Obv: Laureate head of Trajan, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP TRAIANO AVG G[ER DAC PM TR P] COS V PP. Rev: Fortuna, seated left, holding a rudder in her right hand and a cornucopia in the left. Rev inscription: SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI.
