A copper alloy dupondius coin of Emperor Trajan, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 98-117. The back of the coin depicts the female personification of Arabia. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 104-111.
Obv: Radiate head of Trajan, facing right. Obv inscription: [IMP CAES NERV]AE TRAIANO AVG GER [DAC PM TR P COS V PP]. Rev: Arabia, draped, standing front, head left, holding a bundle of canes and a branch, with a camel by her side. Rev inscription: [SPQR OPTI]MO PRINCIPI. SC in field. [ARAB ADQVIS] in exergue.
