A copper alloy sestertius coin of Emperor Domitian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 81-96. The back of the coin depicts Jupiter, king of the Roman gods. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 85.
Obv: Laureate head of Domitian, facing right, with aegis. Obv inscription: IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM COS XI C[ENS P.. PP]. Rev: Jupiter, seated left, holding Victory in his right hand and a long, vertical sceptre in the left. Rev inscription: [IOVI VICTORIA], [SC] in exergue.
