A copper alloy as coin of Emperor Domitian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 81-96. The back of the coin depicts Fortuna, the female personification of fortune. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 85-96.
Obv: Laureate head of Domitian, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM C[OS].... Rev: Fortuna, standing left, holding a rudder in her right hand and a cornucopia in the left. Rev inscription: FORTVNAE AVGVSTI, SC in field.
