A copper alloy as coin of Emperor Domitian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 81-96. The back of the coin depicts Moneta, the female personification of riches and wealth. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 87.
Obv: Laureate head of Domitian, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM COS XIII CENS PER PP. Rev: Moneta, standing left, holding scales in her right hand and a cornucopia in the left. Rev inscription: MONETA AVGVSTI, SC in field.
