Coin, denarius
A silver denarius coin of Emperor Domitian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 81-96. The back of the coin depicts Minerva, the Roman goddess of arts, crafts and war. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 92-93.
Obv: Laureate head of Domitian, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM PM TR P XII. Rev: Minerva, standing right on a prow, holding a javelin in her raised right hand and a round shield in the left. Rev inscription: IMP XXII COS XVI CENS P PP.
