A copper alloy sestertius coin of Emperor Titus, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 79-81. The back of the coin depicts Spes, the female personification of hope. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 80-81.
Obv: Laureate head of Titus, facing left. Obv inscription: [IMP T] CAES VESP AVG PM TR P [PP COS] VIII. Rev: Spes, advancing left, holding a flower in her extended right hand and raising the hem of her dress with the left. Rev inscription: SC in field.
