A copper alloy as coin of Emperor Galba, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 68-69. The back of the coin depicts Libertas, the Roman goddess of liberty. This coin was minted in AD 68-69.
Obv: Laureate head of Galba, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP SER SVLP GALBA CAES AVG TR P. Rev: Libertas, standing left, holding a pileus (cap) in her right hand and a sceptre in the left. Rev inscription: LIBERTAS [PVB]LICA, SC in field.
