A copper alloy as coin of Emperor Nero, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 54-68. The back of the coin depicts Genius. This coin was minted in AD 64-68.
Obv: Bare head of Nero, facing right, small globe at point of bust. Obv inscription: IMP NERO CAESAR AVG PONTIF MAX TRIB POT PP. Rev: Genius, standing left, holding a patera (dish) over a lighted altar in his right hand and a cornucopia in the left. Rev inscription: GENIO AVGVSTI, SC in field.
