A copper alloy as coin of Emperor Nero, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 54-68. The back of the coin depicts Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory. This coin was minted in Lugdunum (modern day Lyon, France), AD 64-68.
Obv: Bare head of Nero, facing left, small globe at point of bust. Obv inscription: IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P MAX TR P PP. Rev: Victory, advancing left, holding a shield inscribed SPQR. Rev inscription: SC in field.
