Case, hat case
Travelling hat box of tan hide fastening with two buckled straps at front and carried by handle on top. Metal (brass?) fittings. Lined in black satin, with gathered satin band and leather strap in lid for hat and two satin covered fitments (removeable) inside case to hold two more hats; lower fitment hinged to reveal small case each side (glove box) underneath.
