South sheet (fifth sheet) of a large map titled ‘London’. Map’s title ‘London (South Sheet)’, published by Weekly Dispatch, located at Fleet Street, London in 1862. Drawn and engraved by Edward Weller, located at Red Lion Square, London. Shows the southern region of London. Extent: Bermondsey, Kennington, Westminster Scholar’s Play Ground, Blackfriars. Trademark or decoration features a flying Hermes or Mercury over a flattened globe, ‘The Dispatch Atlas’ printed on the ribbon wrap along the globe. Handwritten notes on backing card reads, ‘V. London 1862 (South)’.
