Aug.tus Lesage
Copper-engraved billhead with handwritten invoice issued by Augustus Lesage, goldsmith and jeweller located at the sign of the Golden Cup, the corner of Suffolk Street, St James's Haymarket. The billhead includes an engraving of the tradesman's sign of two handled lidded cup within a garland cartouche. Dated 1769 the invoice refers to jewellery services supplied to Sir Lynch Bart.
