Billhead, invoice
Copper-engraved billhead with handwritten invoice issued by Roger Lamb, importer of wines and spirits located at 137 Drury Lane, London. The invoice, dated May 1844, refers to the supply of 2 gallons of Old Jamaica Rum to the Reverend Hasker who lived in the village of Baughurst, Hampshire. The engraved and hand-written script is English round hand.
