Trade card, invoice
Letterpress trade card publicising the business of the hosier James Barwick, located at the sign of the Blue Leg 'against Katherine Street' in the Strand. The trade card notes that James Barwick sells 'for ready money' all sorts of mens womens and childrens silk, worsted, thread and cotton hose and gloves wholesale & retail. The trade card also includes a handwritten invoice dated 15th October 1737 referring to the supply of a pair of fine ribbed grey hose.
