Printed Ephemera — 1764
Billhead, invoice
Copper-engraved billhead with handwritten invoice issued by the glass cutter Thomas Betts located at the sign of the Kings Arms, opposite Pall Mall, Charing Cross. The billhead includes the tradesman's sign of the royal coat of arms implying the firm supplied glass to the royal household. Dated May 1764 the invoice refers to the supply of an order to Mrs Somners.
