J.W. Carter late goodcheape furnishing Undertaker and Funeral Featherman
This trade card advertises the services of James Wigney Carter a furnishing undertaker of 115 Aldersgate Street in the City of London. Carter has taken over the business of Goodcheape. The card is illustrated with a funeral monument surrounded with an iron fence and a small overhanging tree. The monument carries the word 'RESURGAM' (I shall rise again).
