Thesaurus de sanctis
Over half of all books printed in London were religious or devotional. English presses alone were unable to cope with demand, so large numbers of books were printed abroad for the domestic market. Some were designed to appeal to a general audience, and this book, The Lives of the Saints, was especially popular.
