Bone, pinner's bone
Pinner's bone. Bovine metatarsal, right side, fused. The lateral and medial sides at the distal end have been cut away with a saw. There are four facets at the proximal end of the shaft with six deep grooves cut into the longitudinal axis by a saw. There are file marks on every side. The foramen is large and there is an enlarged hole at the proximal end of the bone.
