The distribution of His Majesty's Maundy, by the Sub-Almoner in the Anti Chapel at Whitehall
The distribution of the Royal Maundy by the Sub-Almoner in the ante-chapel at Whitehall. About 36 men sit either side of one trestle table and a similar number of women at another alongside it. On the table are platters of loaves and fishes, each with a card. Various dignitaries and others stand around.
